The company is moving from its location on Commonwealth Avenue, where it held an office for the past 20 years. The company stresses that the move to the new space was prompted by its "extraordinary growth"--which is considered quite an accomplishment in an industry that was one of most severely affected by the events of 9/11.
"It's a huge feat for companies like Garber to be doing as well as they are based on how much business was lost," Lee Langan, director of marketing for Garber, tells GlobeSt.com. "[Garber's] sales are close to where they were, which is amazing. Most people in the travel industry are surprised at how far things are coming since 9/11."
Garber currently operates 100 leisure and corporate travel offices throughout the US, Canada and the UK, with approximately 375 employees.
