Mosher considered Chicago, San Francisco and cities on the East Coast for its headquarters for the company that currently has $220 million in annual sales, making it the second biggest in the $10-billion industry.
Mosher plans to make Renaissance No. 1.
This fall, the company will move into most of the penthouse office suite at the Metropoint I office building at 4600 S. Ulster St. in the Denver Tech Center. Vice president John Nicely, who moved from Cincinnati to Denver, wasn't sure of the initial square feet the company is taking, but the building sports 50,541-sf floorplates, among the largest in multi-tenant buildings in the metro area.
The company employs 1,500 and has manufacturing and sales operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Central America.
"We thoroughly evaluated other locations across the US and feel Denver is best suited t support our international operations and serve our worldwide client and staff," Mosher says.
