Family Dollar Stores Inc. is taking 10,080 sf at an estimated aggregate rent of $1 million or about $20 per sf at the 20-year-old, 100%-leased Crystal Plaza shopping center at Sample Road and Military Trail in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Area brokers familiar with the Sample Road-Military Trail submarket tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity the estimated rent in that area is $20 per sf.
But Family Dollar real estate manager Scott L. Hungate tells GlobeSt.com the estimated $20-per-sf rent is incorrect. He declines to disclose the rent figure.
CORA Healthcare has leased 2,523 sf at an aggregate rent of $315,375 or $25 per sf at the one-year-old, 100%-leased Hagen Ranch Commons shopping center on West Boynton Beach Boulevard in West Boynton, FL. Both properties are about 70 miles north of Downtown Miami.
Bryason president Charles Shane handled the Family Dollar lease and represented the property owner in the CORA lease. Bryason vice president John Howard negotiated for CORA.
