"Prime Retail was fortunate to have Bob Kanner as a director and is appreciative of his efforts as a member of the Board during his tenure," company chairman and CEO Glenn D. Reschke says in a prepared statement. Kanner, who is president of Cleveland, OH-based computer printer supplies manufacturer Pubco Corporation, informed Prime Retail officials that his departure is in no way associated with the company or its management. As of August 2001, Kanner owned nearly 4.4% of Prime Retail's Series A preferred stock.
