Located at 12525-12765 Laurel-Bowie Road off the Baltimore/Washington Parkway, Babies "R" Us Plaza is currently home to about twenty small space retailers including Citizens National Bank, Irish Pub Pizza, Rent-A-Center, Subway, and a US Post Office.
The center's namesake baby store occupies nearly 26,000 sf. Further space remains available but the shopping center's leasing agent JBG Rosenfeld Retail expects tenancy to increase in the near future. "The entrance of Food Lion at Babies 'R' Us Plaza will enhance the appeal of the center to the surrounding community," JBGR vice president of leasing Bob Schwenger says. "The commitment of a grocery anchor was important for the future of the center, thereby making it more attractive for potential retailers." The market will be the third Food Lion in the Laurel region.
