The building will be located in the 31-acre Agua Fria Towne Center now being developed by Vestar Development Co. of Phoenix. The Wal-Mart construction will begin this month with delivery slated for early 2003. Project architects are Merriam, KS-based Boice, Raidl, Rhea Architects Inc. The center will include an automotive service department and garden center.

Summit is still at work on its sixth Wal-Mart, which is going up in Nogales, AZ. Construction will wrap up on the 219,622-sf project in the fourth quarter. Summit also has delivered Wal-Marts in Glendale and Flagstaff, AZ and Lake Havasu and Taos, NM.
