Abbey Party Rents of Houston Inc. renewed a 64,666-sf lease at 7930 Blankenship Rd. David L. Cook, Todd A. Mason and Jeff G. Peden, all of the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc., represented the tenant in the negotiations. Abby Party Rents is a Texas-based supplier of special events items. The business also has locations in Dallas and Arlington.
Abbey Rent's new location is owned by Aurora, CO-based ProLogis Trust. ProLogis used in-house broker Daryl Mechan to negotiate the contract.
In a 42,101-sf sublease, 02 Wireless Solutions took over Metso Automation USA's spot at 4300 Windfern Dr. The Colliers International Houston team of L. Michael Wallace and Michael J. Taetz represented 02 Wireless Solutions. Jim Vann of Houston's Moody Rambin Interests bargained Metso Automation's side of the sublease for the Vantage Cos.-owned, 101,560-sf warehouse.
