Jim Rader, president of Rader Properties, a Norwell, MA-based real estate firm, brokered the deal. He tells GlobeSt.com that it's a "huge deal" in a market that has not seen a lot of leasing activity recently. "Its pretty significant for this market," he points out. Rader adds that there was a lot of interest in this space because of its location--which has high visibility on Route 128--and the quality of the building.

Rader declined to reveal the leasing rate for the space but the area is currently leasing in the $20s-per-sf range.

Clean Harbors currently has service and sales offices located in 26 states and Puerto Rico and operates 11 waste management facilities throughout the country. The company recently acquired South Carolina-based Safety-Kleen Chemical Services.
