Bonds Fund $5.5M in Industrial Expansions

DETROIT-Two projects use state industrial development revenue bonds to buy property, renovate facilities and add jobs. Three industrial firms are expanding with land and building purchases in Macomb County, MI.

Ultra-Tech Automation plans to renovate the facility, and hire 11 new employees. D&R Paint Co. and D&R Washing Inc. will also renovate the facilities and build a 3,000-sf addition to connect the two buildings. The project will create 41 jobs, company officials say.

All three firms received industrial development revenue bonds, provided by the state, to finance the projects.
