Clarke opened Houston-based Transwestern's Denver office in 1997. The next year, he opened an office in Salt Lake City.
Under his watch, the Colorado and Utah portfolios, combined with the Phoenix operation, grew to more than 7.5 million sf.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Clarke worked for the Trammell Crow Co.
Transwestern specializes in corporate advisory, investments services, development, research, property and facilities management and leasing services for office, health care, industrial and retail projects.
It has operations in 23 cities through the US. Last year, the company leased more than 20 million sf, represented clients in $2.3 billion of investment sales and financing, and has recently developed more than five million sf in 23 projects. It also oversaw management of almost 650 properties representing more than 100 million sf.
