The new office is larger than its current accommodations at 641 Danbury Road, according to officials with Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut Inc., which represented CinemaSource in the new lease transaction.

The company plans to move to its new offices by Oct. 1, according to Cushman & Wakefield Associate Director Meredith Siburn, who represented the firm in the deal. GRP Realty represented the landlord, CH Realty Corp. LLC. Siburn also represented CinemaSource eight years ago in the deal that brought the company, which was then a new venture, to its Danbury Road facility.

CinemaSource will now be located on the second floor of 63 Copps Hill Rd., a 36,000-sf office building, known locally as the "Duty Free Building" after a company that once occupied the facility.

"This new location is perfect for CinemaSource because the company wanted to maintain its Ridgefield presence," Siburn says. "They were looking for a quality office space that could accommodate their growth and be built to suit their needs. There were a limited amount of quality options in that size range."

CinemaSource is a subsidiary of Hollywood Media Corp., a provider of news, information and ticketing covering the entertainment and media industries. The company has a database of approximately 36,000 movie screens in the United States and Canada. Its syndicated content is then sold to wireless companies, a voice technology company, online sites such as AOL's Digital City, Yahoo! and Lycos, and newspapers, including the New York Times, as well as to the Knight Ridder newspaper web sites.
