Jon Silberman with Houston's NAI Partners Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant occupied the industrial space for more than five years. The multiple building park totals 147,222 sf. Silberman says Bath Electrical's building address is 100% occupied.
Silberman and NAI broker Cathleen Morgan represented the tenant. San Francisco-based AMB Property II LP is the building owner. AMB purchased the 22-year-old park in 1998. Kirk Guilanshah was the in-house representative for the building owner.
The building is situated in the south submarket, which has about 31 million sf of industrial product. At the second-quarter close, the submarket had 3.2 million sf vacant for a 10.3% rate. Its posted 231,874 sf to the red on the absorption thermometer.
Bath Electrical is a subsidiary of Emerson Electric Co., a St. Louis-based industrial corporation that also owns among US Motors. Bath Electrical also is part of the Houston Electrical League.
