The building will serve as the western distribution center for FAO, which is based in King of Prussia, Pa. The new facility is at the intesection of the Pomona Freeway (60) at 3980 E. Earlstone Ave., Ontario.

FAO was represented by Bram White and Eric Burney of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services. Chuck Belden of Cushman & Wakefield's Ontario office and Investment Development Services Inc., the development manager for Haven Gateway Centre, represented Adaya Asset Slover LP, the property owner.

White and Burney say FAO searched the Reno, Nev. area, Central California and Southern California markets in looking for its new distribution facility, finally choosing Ontario for its combination of available buildings, economics, labor force and transportation network.

FAO's new distribution center is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 32-foot clear height, ESFR sprinklers and 28 truck-high loading doors. The FAO leaves 105,000 sf remaining vacant in the 1.5 million-sf Haven Gateway Centre, whcih is at Haven Ave. and the Pomona Freeway
