Built in 1974, Washington Mutual's Winston Towers branch, a two-story office complex, has 28,647 sf on 1.25 acres. Greenstreet Financial, based in Huntington, NY, provided $1.8 million in financing for the deal.
The Winston Towers' previous owner was Amerifirst Bank, which purchased the building in 1975 for $3.25 million. When the bank failed, the Resolution Trust Corp stepped in and sold the offices for $1.7 million in 1992 to Washington Mutual.
