In the Cendant transaction, Patrick Eichner, the company's in-house leasing director, represented Mack-Cali. The travel and real estate services provider occupies 100% of the building. Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Eichner also represented Mack-Cali in the second largest of the recent signings, in which GAB Robins North America Inc. renewed for just over 75,000 sf for five years at 9 Campus Dr. in the Mack-Cali Business Campus here. The deal brings the 156,500-sf asset to 96.7% leased. The tenant is a national insurance industry service provider.
In other recent transactions, Meridian Health System, owner and operator of healthcare facilities, has leased a total of 42,616 sf for 10 years at 1350 Campus Parkway within the Monmouth Shores Corporate Park, Wall Twp., NJ. The signing represents a renewal for 17,766 sf and an expansion of 24,850 sf. The 79,747-sf class A building is now 100% leased. Harvey Schultz of the Schultz Organization/TCN Worldwide, Woodbridge, represented the tenant; Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Diane Chayes, senior director of leasing.
Finally, Washington Mutual Bank, a subsidiary of Washington Mutual Inc., has signed a new lease for 27,349 sf for five years at 100 Walnut Ave. in Clark, NJ. The 182,555-sf office building is now 100% leased. Philip Heilpern of Insignia/ESG represented the tenant; Toni Casiano, in-house leasing director, represented Mack-Cali.
