Randy Matusoff of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services tells GlobeSt.com that the new owners have renamed the property the Pioneer Building and are marketing the two-story, free-standing building to prospective office tenants.

The property is at 19840 Pioneer Ave. in Torrance, near the San Diego (405) Freeway. Matusoff says it was originally the headquarters of a software company in the 1990s, was acquired by Vivendi, then later put up for sale by the company after a merger.

Matusoff, who has landed the marketing assignment for the property, says it includes a number of extras because it was built as a corporate headquarters. Among these are high-speed data lines, parking of 4.6 spaces per 1,000 sf, plus additional street parking, a number of private offices, a kitchen, and several meeting rooms.
