Lipson tells GlobeSt.com that IAPMO will use half of the space for offices and laboratories, the other half for testing and warehousing.
IAPMO, which first developed the Uniform Plumbing Code in 1945, began in 1926 as the Plumbing Inspectors Association of Los Angeles. The organization currently occupies about 15,000 sf in Walnut, Calif., Lipson tells GlobeSt.com. He says the organization's new building will include single-story warehouse space with second-story offices. The property is part of a two-building business park that was completed in 1990 and formerly was occupied by seller Agricultural Products Inc., which has consolidated its operations elsewhere in Ontario.
Dan De La Paz of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller.
