Four builders are involved, including Biltmore Building Co., Ivanhoe-Huntley, Curtis Building Co. and Millcreek Building Co. The project includes 1,291 new single-family homes and two different attached condominium home complexes, on 338 acres in the township at Cherry Hill and Ridge roads.
More than 115 units have been sold. It's expected the development will take seven years to finish.
At least 25% open space must be maintained by agreements betweenthe township and Biltmore.
Biltmore officials say the plan has worked smoothly thanks to intensive interaction with township planners, elected officials and neighboring residents, and interaction with the township's master plan, adopted in 1998.
