But brokers following the multifamily market tell GlobeSt.com the project is planned for either 185 units or 288 units with 30,000 sf of ground-floor office and retail, up from 10,000 sf initially projected.
The three-acre, one-block site is bounded by Pine and Church Streets and Eola Drive and Osceola Avenue.
Although 2,000 new apartments have surfaced Downtown in the last 18 months, no condo ventures have been planned since the mid-1990s when the mid-rise Renaissance at Lake Ivanhoe was built on the north side of Lake Eola.
The first Downtown condo project, Park Lake Towers, was developed in the 1970s on east Colonial Drive. 530 East Central, was built on east Central Boulevard in the 1980s.
