The company, which is comprised of Gary Beyler as manager and Jim Allen, says it plans to build an 80,000-sf, class A building on the site, which is located to the east of 8989 Rio San Diego Drive in Mission Valley. Another company owned and managed by Beyler, Griffin Properties LLC, already holds two other properties located opposite the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. They consist of the 78,000-sf office building Rio Vista Plaza, which is located at 8989 Rio San Diego Drive, and the Rio Vista Offices project, a 30,000-sf facility slated for completion early next year.
In the recent Mission Valley transaction, Rio Courtyard LLC represented itself. Jack Kruger and Paul Brown of BRE Commercial/NAI's San Diego office acted on behalf of the seller, CalMat Co.
