The I-80 Industrial Park is comprised of 500 acres and is adjacent to North-South and East-West transcontinental rail lines and Interstate 80.

Built by the US in 1942 as a self-sufficient community to aid the war effort, the depot was deactivated in 1967 and eventually became the I-80 Industrial Park with residential elements.
