The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority is receiving $3 millionfrom the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund to demolish structures,remove contaminated soils and dispose of hazardous substances aspart of the Arena redevelopment and the community effort toredevelop the eastern shore of the Maumee River.

Continental Real Estate has agreed to redevelop the property bybuilding a new civic arena. The $9.8-million project will includeresidential, commercial and entertainment uses, creatingapproximately 650 jobs.
