The new facility includes laboratory space to support thecompany's development efforts, as well as its corporate offices.Norman Selby, CEO and president of TransForm says that the move wasneeded now because the additional space and laboratory improvementswill enable the company to move forward with its "near-term" growthplans. "The new space will enable us to continue to delivervalue-added results to our strategic partners, as well as enable usto accelerate our own product development efforts. We believe thisnew facility will afford us the flexibility to accommodate ourfuture growth," he notes.

The facility is located near Route 95 and is in close proximityto Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and anumber of the leading biotechnology companies and researchinstitutions--all of which played a factor in TransForm's decisionto relocate to this area. "This location provides us access to thelatest in technology developments as well as the ability tocontinue to attract local top-notch talent," points out BarbaraCarter, TransForm's vice president of human resources.
