The additional space is added to existing 16,000 sf, bringing its headquarters total to 23,000 sf. Other terms of the lease were not disclosed.

The industrial park was recently bought by John Sacharok, an individual investor based in the area, from Church Street Properties, Grafinger says. The move will house the company's growing AV equipment rental business, he adds.

"It's not been easy to undergo such an increase in physical space, while still managing a number of major projects like AstraZeneca's $3-million AV expansion and Princeton University's $1-million AV upgrade," Grafinger says.

The demand for audio visual systems integration and services by the region's largest Fortune 1000 companies and major universities has driven the expansion, according to Jay Armand, president of Advanced AV Systems Integration. The expansion affects almost every department in the company, including engineering, fabrication, field service support and project management.

The 17-year-old company is one of the largest full-service audio, video and lighting services company in the Delaware Valley, as well as a national provider of presentation products and integrated systems for clients from the pharmaceutical, chemical, financial,high technology, higher education, hospitality and telecommunications markets.
