Terms of the deal, which was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield, were not disclosed. One recent sublease at Library Tower was signed at $1.92 per sf, full service gross.
Thomas McDonald of Cushman & Wakefield tells GlobeSt.com that Heidrick & Struggles has moved into its new space on the 33rd floor of the skyscraper, where it relocated from its longtime location at 300 S. Grand Ave. in downtown Los Angeles. McDonald and C&W's Justin Collins represented sublandlord Mercer Human Resource Consulting, while C&W's Brian Ulf, Ted Simpson and John Eichler represented Heidrick & Struggles.
The new Heidrick space formerly was occupied by SCA Consulting, which was acquired by Mercer in October 2001. The SCA employees later moved into Mercer's existing Los Angeles office at 777 S. Figueroa St. in downtown Los Angeles.
