Rothstein, Kass has named former Kenneth Leventhal & Co. executive Scott Farb to head the group, which will provide accounting, audit, tax, information technology and tax and accounting out-sourcing services, according to a company announcement.
Farb is a 25-year veteran of the accounting industry who formerly was managing partner of the entrepreneurial services group at real estate specialist Leventhal, which merged with Ernst & Young in 1995. He says one of his goals at the new Rothstein, Kass group is to replicate the "boutique" nature of the Kenneth Leventhal firm. Rothstein, Kass & Company P.C. has more than 400 employees with offices in New York, Northern California, New Jersey, Bermuda and Grand Cayman.
