Dave Stolte of the Charles Dunn Co. tells GlobeSt.com that the new owner is a subsidiary of The Eye Care Network that administers claims relating to eye care on behalf of insurance carriers, health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations and employer groups. Stolte represented the buyer, along with Dunn's Suzanne Richie.

Stolte tells GlobeSt.com that Medical Eye is working on tenant improvements to the two-story, concrete tilt-up building now and expects to move in around the end of the year. He says the seller had owned the building since it was constructed in the 1980s and completed extensive renovations for Taco Bell when it was that company's headquarters building. The seller had gutted the building, which is part of Airport Business Center, and was preparing to lease it out when Medical Eye made the offer to buy the building, Stolte says. The seller was represented by Bryon Ward, Scott Read and Wade Tift of Grubb & Ellis.
