Cook, a 25-year veteran of the real estate industry, formerly was a senior vice president of The Staubach Co. in Los Angeles and has also served as managing director and manager of the Western Region for Credit Suisse First Boston Realty Corp. He also was senior vice president and managing director of Cushman Realty Corp., where he spent 16 years and founded the firm's West Los Angeles office.
Chicago-based Equis Corp. established its Los Angeles office about nine years ago and is one of the few firms in Los Angeles that operates strictly as a tenant broker.
Cook, who joined Equis from Staubach, tells GlobeSt.com that Equis established its Los Angeles office about nine years ago. The firm has eight brokers who provide a broad range of corporate services integral to tenant representation, including national and international portfolio management.
