Medlock consists of 41 small storefronts, 35 of which are leased and represent a 99.96% total occupancy. Other tenants include Rio Bravo Cantina, Starbucks, Subway, Macaroni Grill, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
This acquisition follows Allied's purchase of 68,778-sf Centre Court in Sandy Springs, GA, just north of Atlanta, in July. It is anchored by Ace Hardware and an Eckerds drug store and is also nearly 100% leased.
According to a notice on the company's statements and web site, Allied has $500 million to invest in other retail properties.
