Scheduled to open by the end of the year, Tricon Global group will build a 3,200-sf building a dual eatery. Jim Tycom represented Tricon and Greg Jordan, director of retail leasing for the Woodland Operating Co. LP, handled its side of the negotiations. The site is near the Shops at Six Pines, a 225,000-sf center along Six Pines Drive between Lake Robbins Drive and Lake Woodlands Drive.
Headquartered in Louisville, KY, Tricon Global recently changed its name to Yum! Brands Inc. The firm operates Kentucky Fried Chicken or KFC, A&W All American Foods, Long John Silvers, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. The company has 367 restaurant units in dual-brand locations. The most common pairing is KFC and Taco Bell or KFC and Pizza Hut. In all, the restaurant chain has 30,000 stores in 100 countries.
