CDM Inc. took 16,741 sf at Riata Corporate Park V in the far northwest submarket. The Austin operation of CDM, based in Cambridge, MA, has been occupying a spot in the 66,814-sf Oakpointe building at 9111 Jollyville Rd. in the northwest submarket. CDM is a consulting, engineering, construction, and operations company.
Roy Scruggs of CarrAmerica's Austin team acted on behalf of his company, which is the building owner, and Russell Young and Mike Kennedy, both of Commercial Texas in Austin, along with Al Townsend of Meredith & Grew ONCOR represented CDM.
The 92,000-sf Riata Corporate Park V is part of a seven-building complex at 12300 Riata Trace Parkway. The complex has nearly 650,000 sf.
In another transaction, First Avantus Securities subleased 6,295 sf from R.R. Donnelly & Sons Co. at Westech 360 at 8911 Capital of Texas Highway. It relocated from Stonebridge I at 9606 N. MoPac Expressway, also in the northwest submarket.
Young and Kennedy represented First Avantus and Gaines Bagby of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Austin office represented R.R. Donnelly. Built in 1986, Westech 360 has 178,175 sf.
