Farmer is responsible for overseeing all 17 of Colonial's existing mall properties. That will include expansion, remodeling, repositioning, de-malling and negotiating with anchors.
He has had 20 years of experience related to shopping centers, including positions as a developer, owner, retail anchor and leasing attorney.
He has held positions with Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle, Florida-based JMB/Federated Realty, Inc., and Cincinnati, OH-based Federated Departments Stores Inc. Federated owns Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Burdine's, Rich's and other department stores.
