Bob Conwell was the in-house broker for property owner, New Quest Properties, as well as the tenant's representative. Conwell tells GlobeSt.com that he fielded in excess of 100 calls from prospective tenants for the property.
The five-year-old convenience store sits at the front of the 33,300-sf Ashford Plaza, which Conwell says is 100% leased to local tenants. NKN will be switching the service station's Conoco banner to an unbranded fuel.
Across town at the under-construction Cypress Town Center at Jones and Cypress North Houston roads, Sharp Vision Inc. leased 1,400 sf for its third Houston location. Heather P. Nguyen represented NewQuest, the property owner. The 118,547-sf retail center will open at Thanksgiving, with Kroger and CVS Pharmacy as its anchors.
