McLane Foodservice will move from Oak Creek, WI, a south suburb of Milwaukee, when its 170,000-sf distribution center is completed next summer. WISPARK estimates the cost of the project at $8 million to $10 million. It also can be expanded by 120,000 sf. Meanwhile, the 130-acre GrandView Business Park on I-94 at Highway 20 is expanding to the south by 48 acres, partly because of the McLane Foodservice project.

Platford Corp. will build three multi-tenant buildings totaling nearly 100,000 sf on its property, a project estimated at $5 million. Construction of the first office, warehouse and industrial buildings begins in the fall with completion scheduled next spring. Construction of the remaining two buildings will be dictated by the market, according to WISPARK.

"WISPARK is excited about Platford's proposed project because it will fill a needed market niche of small to mid-sized industrial companies not previously present in GrandView Business Park," says WISPARK LLC president Jerold P. Franke in a statement.
