Loralie Ogden of CB Richard Ellis, who represented GE Capital in lease negotiations, says that approximately 45 GE Capital employees are based at the Beverly Atrium, which is at the northeast corner of Olympic Boulevard and Beverly Drive. GE Capital Commercial Finance is part of General Electric Co., which says that approximately 40% of its $125.9 billion in 2001 revenue came from its financial services operations.
The Beverly Atrium is a three-story, 64,000-sf office building that is 95% occupied. GE has been in the building about nine years and had about a year remaining on its old lease.
Arden was represented internally by Gayle Landes, and David L. King of GE Capital also participated in the negotiations.
