FM Global, one of the nation's leading insurance companies, will move into 53,800 sf or floors six and seven at 5700 Granite Parkway. Occupancy is ticketed for February 2003 for the eight-year lease, Greg Fuller, managing director of Granite Properties Inc., tells GlobeSt.com.
Ron MacLure, Granite's marketing manager, negotiated the contract with FM Global's representative, Mary Stoner of Colliers International's Dallas office. FM Global is relocating from a neighboring Granite building, but adding 11,000 sf with the move, Fuller says.
Ford heads into its spot, 26,800 sf on the top floor, by late fourth quarter. The six-year lease was crafted by MacLure and the CB Richard Ellis team of Baron Aldrine, Pat O'Keefe and Anthony Bolner.
In a five-year lease, GreenPoint Funding Mortgage, a newcomer to town, will slide into 11,480 sf at Granite Park Two. Move-in is set for late November. MacLure and CBRE's Christine Mickey worked out the terms of the five-year pact.
"All three deals have been in some form of negotiations for the past year and now they've pulled the trigger," says Fuller, adding that his teams are seeing the most activity in North Dallas.
Granite's Atrium at Northcreek landed a 26,300-sf tenant, Questcare Practice Management Services Inc. The firm has taken over the office space at 2929 N. Central Expressway in a seven-year signing negotiated between Granite's Mark Harrison and the tenant rep, Jo Thompson of NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell. The lease boosts the 85,630-sf Atrium to 82% occupancy.
