The property is at Highland Avenue and Romaine Street, according to Loralie Ogden of CB Richard Ellis, who represented the buyer and the seller.
The building is occupied on a long-term lease by Dunn Edwards Paint, a Los Angeles-based company founded in 1925 that has 73 stores in the Western United States. The Hollywood property includes 22,500 sf of land and 14,000 sf of building space.
Of the 14,000 sf of building space, about 4,000 is a retail store operated by Edwards and the balance is office and storage space occupied by Edwards. The two-story, poured concrete building was constructed in 1970. Highland Partners had owned the building since it was completed.
