"John is an excellent fit for this role," says Joel Herskowitz, executive vice president and regional managing director responsible for the Company's New York Area activities. "He is intimately familiar with local markets and local industry, and will help to grow the Company's activities in Connecticut and Westchester County."
Foster previously held the positions of senior vice president and branch manager for Cushman & Wakefield's Stamford office and senior vice president and managing officer for CB Commercial in Hackensack, NJ.
Most recently, Foster, 59, was a principal with Commercial Realty Advisors LLC in Tucson, AZ. "Here, too, we see a good fit: his Company was a brokerage designed to have consultative advisory services assist its transaction professionals," adds Herskowitz.
Foster replaces Ron Macklin, who has been serving as interim managing director for the Stamford office. Macklin, a vice president with the firm continues to head up the area's Management Services Group.
