Edwards won the work in public bidding for the four-story, 33,000-sf clubhouse and two-story, 7,800-sf sales center jobs. Local partners Paul Fletcher of Fletcher Land Corp. and Hawley Smith of H. Smith Inc. are working with Hines on the project which is between St. Augustine, FL and Ponte Vedra Beach.
The estimated 15-month construction track is expected to be completed by year end 2003. The masonry-built clubhouse will house golf cart storage, pro shop/retail, a grillroom, fine dining, banquet facilities and a public café.
The sales center will house the sales display area, conference rooms and administrative office space.
