The new space will accommodate an expansion by the City of Industry, Calif.-based furniture wholesaler and distributor. Sears, the building owner, occupies the remainder of the 316,751-sf warehouse, which was built in 1974. Rick Ellison, Jeff Chiate and Peter Sowa of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
Ellison and Chiate also represented Anaheim, Calif.-based Reborn Cabinets in a move of its manufacturing plant and design center from its present 15,000 sf facility at 2981 Whitestar Ave. in Anaheim to a 40,000 sf concrete tilt up building at 2981 East La Palma Ave. Reborn signed a five-year, $1.1 million lease. Reborn Cabinets is a family- owned business that designs and manufactures custom cabinetry. Brian Corrigan of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the landlord, Leo Ward Trust.
