Physical Distribution, a 30-year old public warehousing and distribution company headquartered in Vernon, plans to move this month into the new facility at 2034 E. 27th St., which the company will use as an auxiliary warehouse.
Physical Distribution was represented by David Freitag of Daum. The property owner, Gautier Land Co., was represented by Daum's Michael Nubel and Jerry Sackler. The Daum brokers said the deal illustrates how tight the market is for space in Vernon, one of L.A.'s most established and sought-after industrial locations. The new lease was signed while the former tenant was still occupying the property.
The new warehouse for Physical Distribution Services is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 62 dock high-loading positions, 24-foot minimum warehouse clearance, 2,000 sf of office space, and 125 on-site parking spaces.
