The 140-unit facility is owned and operated by Mechanicsburg, PA-based NT Management Inc., which also owns and operates the Comfort Inn in Selinsgrove, PA; Econo Lodge in Hershey, PA, and Comfort Inn Capital City in Mechanicsburg. The renovated Quality Inn center is near I-80 and Bucknell and Susquehanna universities.
The Shamokin Dam property is franchised to NT by Silver Springs, MD-based Choice Hotels International, which has 810 Quality brand hotels in operation and 146 under development worldwide. In all, it franchises more than 5,000 hotels under the Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, Econo Lodge and other brands in 46 countries.
