The office will provide project financing and merger and acquisition services to clients in Houston and the southwest. Kyle Kelly with Houston's Trione & Gordon ONCOR International represented the law firm in the lease. The 1100 Louisiana, owned by a partnership of Hines Interests and CALPERS, used an in-house broker to negotiate its terms. Hines built the 55-story, 1.2-million-sf building in 1980.

Houston-based Reh Burwell Partners Architects handled programming and interior design for the new office. In a press release, William M. Burwell, Reh Burwell principal, said the new office layout matches match the firm's corporate culture. "Importance was placed on the state-of-the-art conference room phone, video and data capabilities," he said.
