Situated at 400 North Center St., TownMall occupies a 56-acre parcel of land and consists of about 70 local and national retail operations. Immediately after acquiring the property, the owner gave the mall its new name, as well as an image upgrade with the help phoenix Four's investment advisor Strategic Resources Corp., which is behind the property's management and repositioning programs. New tenants in the mall include The Dress Barn, which opened in a 6,000-sf space in August, and a 6,000-sf Super Buffet restaurant that will debut in December. The company's most significant new draw will be its third anchor, the 178,500-sf, Boscov's department store that is scheduled to open next year in a two-story space that formerly housed a 78,500-sf Montgomery Ward store. A 70,000-sf Sears and a 65,000-sf Belk serve as the other two mall anchors.

"Strategic Resources Corporation identified an under-performing property and successfully instituted numerous improvements making TownMall of Westminster a fully competitive regional mall asset in its sub-market and market," says Sonnenblick-Goldman president Steven A. Kohn. "This redevelopment model is not only attractive to tenants and shoppers, but also to the lending community."
