Located half mile from the Gulf Freeway near Griggs Road, the property is nestled on a cul-de-sac in the middle of one of town's heaviest industrial sectors. Doug Bates and Darren O'Connor, both of the Houston office of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial, brokered the deal.

O'Connor tells GlobeSt.com that the buyer plans to invest some money into renovating the complex, which is designed with two connected structures. O'Connor isn't sure of the amount, but is sure the work is on the drawing board.

The property was on the market for about six months at an asking price of $250,000. O'Connor says the property received multiple offers. The seller, Lapas Net Inc., a Pittsburgh-based investor, owned the property since 1989.
