Steve Rocher and Kristen Porter, both of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Houston office, represented the building owner, BMS Management. The 19-year-old Chase Bank Building contains 207,534 sf in 13 stories. The building currently is 81% occupied, with rent hovering at $20 per sf. The building is located just inside Loop 610 in the Galleria/River Oaks area. Rob Johnson of Rob Johnson Interests represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

The Woodlands also got a tenant for a small office in a 20-year-old, 20,955-sf building at 25227 Grogan's Mill Rd. Glory Mortgage has signed for 1,667 sf in a deal structured by Ace Schlameus and Jay Kyle, also with Grubb & Ellis in Houston. The team represented the building owner, Zenith Properties. The building also houses several other mortgage, real estate and title company tenants.
