According to Oakland officials, the airport area has drawn a lot of interest from potential developers and tenants in the past few years, as Oakland has become a more attractive area for businesses.

The Hegenberger Road property consists of one empty 4,000-sf metal building and a 1,000-sf block building. The buyer plans to develop the land as an office/flex center, including four buildings totaling 197,500-sf. The project may break ground as soon as next month and will take about a year to complete.
