Herbert has been in the commercial real estate industry for 21 years and was a senior vice president in the G&E Newport Beach office before joining Orton. His duties will include the management of Orton's new developments and directing the expansion of the company's business nationwide.
Orton's portfolio and projects include mixed-use rehabilitation, redevelopment, and management of more than 45 projects totaling in excess of 6 million sf. Its Southern California portfolio holdings have included projects in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties. The company recently acquired Midway Corporate Plaza, a 164,000-sf facility on 21 acres in Pomona, from Lockheed Martin Corp. and is looking for additional acquisitions.
