In announcing the promotion, Bradford president and CEO Kevin Santaularia recognized Horstmann's "valuable contributions to the Bradford platform." Horstmann was the firm's president and managing director of management services.

Until a month ago, Bradford had the distinction of having two presidents of top regional organizations in its midst. Horstmann is president of BOMA Dallas and has been a member of its board since 1998. He also is a former past president of IREM. His background includes multifamily, office, retail and industrial property management.

The promotion comes about 30 days after the exit of key player, David Hicks, president of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. After 12 years with the firm, he gave up his executive vice presidency and managing director's seat at Bradford to be senior vice president of office development for Hillwood.
