The family has Shogun restaurants in New York City and Chicago and a Sushi House in Japan. The restaurant chain's newest spot is in a center at the intersection of College Park Drive and FM 1488. Planned for a December opening, the Shogun restaurant is being finished out by Robert Chung, contractor, in line with the design by architect Jeff Fkuang.

The 130,000-sf Windvale Village Center is anchored by a 56,911-sf Randall's supermarket and fuel center. The Woodlands Operating Co. manages the shopping center. Jeff Beard, director of retail properties for the Woodlands Operating Co. handled talks for the Houston-based property owner, CenterAmerica. Shogun owner Bill Hou and Jerry Walker of REMAX/Woodlands-Spring negotiated on the chain's behalf.
